Caltta Deploys Ad Hoc LTE Trunking System for PRC 70th Anniversary Parade

Caltta Technologies, a leading provider of integrated professional trunking communication solutions, successfully deployed its portable LTE trunking communications solution for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, which was held on October 1st, 2019 in Beijing.


P200 is a portable LTE trunking system developed by Caltta according to the requirements of emergency communication and dispatching. IP67 water and dust proof, robust enough to manage all kinds of tough environment, this portable system provides abundant services, including broadband data, voice/video call, GPS location and multimedia dispatching. During the grand celebration, the system ran smoothly with loud and clear push-to-talk calls, and stable live video streaming.


Featuring high capacity and low latency, Caltta LTE radios GH880 streamed live video back to the command center in real time. Rapid dispatching was realized through trunking calls, HD video distribution and real-time video streaming. As an emergency communications solution, the Portable LTE System P200 was deployed to guarantee communication during rush hours and to handle blind point and other scenarios of emergency.


The dedicated communication system for the mega event was formed by the existing Private LTE network of public safety departments and Beijing municipality private network. It managed to cover over 95% area of the city within its fifth ring road. Onsite support team was formed jointly by Caltta and other system providers to guarantee smooth operation of the sub-systems and the system as a whole. Caltta LTE trunking system and radios were deployed in the command and control center, national radio regulatory commission and the police stations of Chaoyang district. Before the celebration, scrutinized testing and inspection were made to guarantee good performance of all the equipment and trunking services.
