Hong Kong — 23 April 2026 — Caltta Technologies, a global provider of professional wireless communication solutions, showcased its latest Mission Critical Services (MCX) suite and integrated emergency communication solutions at Critical Communications Asia 2026, the inaugural regional event organized by TCCA.

The company’s live demonstrations attracted strong interest from industry professionals, system integrators, and public safety stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region.

End-to-End MCX Portfolio Demonstrated Live

At the center of Caltta’s showcase is its comprehensive MCX portfolio, including the MCX Server, MCX Client, and MCX-enabled terminals. Demonstrated in a dedicated on-site environment, the solution delivers real-time mission-critical voice, video, and data services over broadband networks.

Visitors experienced how the system enables seamless coordination across agencies and operational teams, reflecting the growing demand in Asia for 3GPP standards-based mission-critical communications.

“The Asian region is a significant market for critical communications and, as in other regions, critical industries are working towards augmenting well-established narrowband networks with critical broadband capability,” said Kevin Graham, CEO of TCCA.

Emergency Communication Solutions for Rapid Deployment

In parallel, Caltta presented its emergency communication portfolio, featuring DMR SmartLink ad-hoc and sMesh broadband ad-hoc systems integrated with purpose-built terminals.

Designed for high-risk and infrastructure-limited environments—such as firefighting, disaster response, and remote operations—these solutions enable rapid deployment and resilient connectivity. Demonstrations also highlighted drone-assisted coverage to establish instant communication links in challenging scenarios.

While large-scale MCX deployments in Hong Kong are still developing, the showcase emphasized the real-world applicability of these technologies in enhancing situational awareness and improving response efficiency.

Commitment to Open Standards and Industry Collaboration

As part of its global strategy, Caltta confirmed its participation in upcoming MCX interoperability testing initiatives organized by TCCA and ETSI, reinforcing its commitment to open standards and ecosystem collaboration.

“Caltta is focused on enabling the evolution from narrowband to broadband critical communications through open, standards-based innovation,” said Richard Sun, Senior Vice President at Caltta. “By combining MCX capabilities with rapidly deployable emergency communication solutions, we aim to support customers in building more resilient and future-ready communication networks.”

With strong engagement throughout the event, Caltta’s presence at Critical Communications Asia 2026 underscores its role in advancing next-generation mission-critical and emergency communication solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
