Connect 5G today announced a collaboration with Dell Technologies Federal to bring next-generation private 5G and edge solutions to the U.S. Federal market.
The collaboration is focused on enabling secure, resilient, and rapidly deployable communications platforms designed for mission-critical environments. By combining Dell Federal’s leadership in ruggedized compute and edge infrastructure with Connect 5G’s expertise in distributed software-defined core networks and telecommunications systems integration, the collaboration is designed to deliver integrated, mission-ready solutions for federal agencies operating in mission-critical environments.
These next-generation platforms are designed to meet evolving mission requirements, including secure edge computing, resilient communications, and rapid deployment in austere, air-gapped or disconnected conditions. The offering is intended to reduce traditional constraints around interoperability, size, weight, power, and cost while increasing edge capability, flexibility, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
“This is about redefining how mission-critical communications are delivered at the edge,” said Patrik Melander, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Connect 5G. “Together with Dell Federal, we are bringing a new class of integrated, software-defined and rapidly deployable private 5G solutions to the Federal space, which is enabling customers to operate with greater speed, resilience, and autonomy in the environments where it matters most.”
The collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to advancing secure communications and supporting the modernization of federal networks through open, standards-based private 5G and edge technologies.
