Northcom has become a member of  TCCA – membership is an important step in Northcom’s long-term work to develop, deliver and support secure communication solutions for organizations where availability, resilience and collaboration are essential.

TCCA brings together an international ecosystem of organizations, authorities, operators, manufacturers, system integrators and technology suppliers, who together drive the development of critical communications. The organization plays a central role in issues of standardization, interoperability and future technologies within, among others, TETRA, MCx, Private 5G and broadband-based critical communications. For Northcom, membership means a strengthened opportunity to follow developments closely, participate in important industry dialogues and contribute with Nordic experience from environments where communication must work – every day and in all situations.

A natural step for Northcom to become a member of TCCA

Northcom has been working with solutions for critical communications in the Nordic region for many years. Our customers include emergency response, defense, industry, transport, energy and the public sector – organizations where communication must not be a weak link. As critical communications move from traditional radio systems towards more integrated and broadband-based solutions, the need for collaboration, standardization and long-term technology choices increases. Through membership in TCCA, Northcom strengthens its role in this development.

“Becoming a member of TCCA is an important step for us and is fully in line with our long-term strategy within critical communication. We see great value in being an active part of the international ecosystem that shapes the future solutions for socially important organizations,” says Kenneth Hübner, Group CEO of Northcom.

The future of communication requires collaboration

Developments in critical communications are moving rapidly. MCx, Private 5G, hybrid solutions and secure mobile data communication are becoming increasingly important components in solutions that will support both today’s and tomorrow’s needs. For Northcom, membership is not only about following technological developments, but also about contributing practical experience from Nordic customers and environments. Through TCCA, Northcom gains access to international forums, knowledge sharing and networks where future solutions are discussed and shaped. Membership strengthens Northcom’s prerequisites for continuing to be a long-term partner for organizations with high demands for secure, robust and business-critical communications.
