MiniServer 2.0 is now officially available, bringing enhanced flexibility and streamlined deployment to small-site Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) projects. Designed as a compact, on-premise PoC server, MiniServer supports secure, independent communications for environments such as hotels, campuses, property security operations and facility management sites.

With the launch of MiniServer 2.0, the focus shifts to enabling faster rollout and reducing total cost of ownership for real-world projects.

Key Enhancements in MiniServer 2.0

Cat.1 PoC Device Support
In addition to Android-based PoC terminals, MiniServer 2.0 now supports Cat.1 PoC devices. This provides partners and system integrators with greater flexibility in device selection, allowing optimized cost structures and role-based device allocation across teams.

Simplified Public Network Deployment
MiniServer 2.0 supports deployment over public cellular networks with dynamic IP capability and built-in connectivity checks. This significantly reduces network configuration complexity and eliminates the need for fixed IP arrangements in many scenarios, accelerating installation and commissioning.

Browser-Based Dispatcher
Supervisors and control room operators can now access dispatching and command-and-control functions directly through a standard web browser. This removes the need for dedicated dispatch software installations and improves operational convenience.

Purpose-Built for Independent Small-Site Operations

MiniServer 2.0 is engineered for small to medium-sized projects typically supporting 50 to 200 users. It is ideal for organizations that require their own dedicated local PoC platform—ensuring operational control, data ownership and service reliability—without depending on consumer-grade applications or large nationwide PoC infrastructures.

By combining compact on-premise architecture with flexible device compatibility and simplified network deployment, MiniServer 2.0 provides a practical, cost-efficient communications backbone for localized business-critical operations.
