The New Jersey Emergency Management Association (NJEMA) has announced the addition of T-Mobile as its newest Corporate Partner, strengthening efforts to enhance mission-critical communications and emergency response capabilities across New Jersey.
As a global leader in wireless communications and innovation, T-Mobile brings advanced connectivity solutions that support public safety agencies, first responders, and resilient communications infrastructure. Central to this commitment is its 5G leadership, delivering extensive coverage designed to ensure reliable connectivity when it matters most.
Through its T-Priority solution—built on T-Mobile’s 5G Standalone (SA) core—the company is providing a dedicated, high-performance network experience tailored for first responders. Leveraging the nation’s first network slice for public safety, T-Priority enables priority access, even during times of network congestion, ensuring uninterrupted communication in critical situations.
T-Mobile’s network capabilities also include enhanced capacity, faster speeds, and expanded coverage, delivering a superior 5G experience for emergency personnel. In addition, its satellite-to-mobile integration—supported by a constellation of over 650 satellites—extends connectivity to remote and underserved areas, helping maintain communication where traditional networks may not reach.
NJEMA looks forward to collaborating closely with T-Mobile to improve situational awareness, strengthen interoperability among agencies, and support the evolving needs of emergency management professionals across the state.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing next-generation communication technologies that empower first responders and enhance public safety outcomes.
